Still seem to be getting periodic Update Security Settings notifications for O365 account in question. After "activating," was browsing Device Administrator permissions and now noticed that Samsung Email was granted permission as a Device Administrator (had never seen there before). In order to eliminate this factor, would you mind having a go by manually deleting the roaming profile while logged on and see if restarting Outlook will make the password prompt reappear?īesides, I'd recommend try manually saving the Office 365 credential into the Windows Credential Manager and see if it can help:ġ.

This might have something to do with the fact that Roaming Profiles are removed from the RDS host once a user logs off. When they enter the password Outlook connects but after logging off and logging on again this same password prompt always comes back. They are using an on-premise Remote Desktop Server 2019 with Microsoft Office 365 installed on it.Įvery time a user logs on and starts Outlook, the system asks for the Office365 password for the user's mailbox shown in an actual Office365 logon screen.
